Opinions Needed (non-fox)

So I've really been considering making some changes on my Mustang.  I put chrome tail light and fog light bezels on the car when it was fairly new.  Now I am contemplating removing them.  What do you guys think?  Leave 'em or ditch 'em?  Sometimes I think they look like ass :barf:...and other times I think it kinda goes with the car.

I would post this on one of the Mustang forums where I visit but those guys would call me a "British cigarette" or something.  lol.

On a side note, my wife let me know that she got me a Hurst Competition Plus shifter for Christmas.  That should be a nice addition to the old 'stang come spring!  I love my wife:bowdown:

You know that's what I'm thinking...shiznit can the tail light chrome & leave the fogs.

I'm thinking these would make things look better too:

I like it.The chrome is thin,so it's not out of place on the car.Just don't get carried away with a lot of stick on mods.Too many people take it too far.

I like the chrome too. It's just a touch, not distasteful.

IMHO, i think you should lose front and rear. on the fog lights, they dont match the headlights.  if you could put rings around the headlights they'd match.  how it sits? its your car, but i'd ditch the rings.

as for the rear... im sorry but that looks like something you get at walmart.

its a really nice mustang tho.

I think it looks great the way you have it! It's just enough without being too much. I have also found that since I put chrome trim on my taillamps it ties in more with the classic models. Now when I see tailllamps without them they seem unfinished. Also, the style of the chrome trim I got for my taillamps replicates the detail of the 1968 Shelby which in turn are literally borrowed from the 1965 Thunderbird.

I have also added a chrome around the border of the grille.

Man you guys are pretty much split on this!  When I bought the car I thought it needed a little touch of chrome since it has the polished wheels.  Right now I'm thinking doing what I mentioned earlier and pulling off the tail light ones and then getting those mirror covers...they look like the mirrors from a Terminator cobra imo.

I say this
Take the tail lights and have a nice LIGHT tint coat on them, PAINT the mirror covers you have AND the tail light trim BODY color. What do you think about that?? I think that would look trick and original. My beef with those tail lights has always been they looked too bland from the factory, theres no real break in the lights like the OLD stangs, and the older SN95 lights.
