BSFC = Brake specific fuel consumption

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brake_specific_fuel_consumption

Fuel requirement in lbs./hr = (Max HP x BSFC) / (number of injectors x duty cycle) Most OEM manufacturers like to keep max. duty cycle at .80 to .85

A forced induction engine almost always has a higher BSFC than a N/A engine of similar size and power (I.E stock motor w/ a centrifugal blower vs. a H/C/I motor both producing equal peak power.)

Hey John: Long time no see. How are you doing?
I'm doing fine and the Bird is good. I added an S-trim since the last time you saw my car. Being blown is good!!!!
I haven't had a chance to make it to FFW the last couple of years. Hope to make it next year.

Anyways here are the close up pics

Very nice.  Looks factory, and I mean that as the best of compliments.  You've got me seriously considering that for mine (instead of something else), even though it isn't deep enough.

I think if that little py chin spoiler that came on my TC bumper cover can keep my 5.0 cool enough, the Mach 1 spoiler I have waiting should be more than enough (obviously when the car is moving).I'll have an electric fan on soon.

I figured this thing would easily ram more air up in there because the one I took off looked like it would force the air down instead of up and this is pointed so that it would scoop the air up, and it is also taller than the stock one was

I'm looking at something that leaves a smaller gap between the spoiler and the ground.

I originally was thinking that, then I realized how many times (More than I can remember) that the factory lip spoiler has sed on an incline,or on a curb when I was parking the car, etc.I try to be cautious, but I don't want to tear anything up,and I know how my luck is.

Vinnie, that's why I haven't decided yet.  I'm looking for something that's going to work the way I want and won't be a problem to replace when it gets broken.
