Pics w/axle and Cobra R's

Here she is with the 8.8, rear springs, and wheels/tires on.  I have yet to get the front springs on.  Ride height is...well...altered quite a bit with the Steeda springs.  I like it though.  My friends tell me it looks like a NASCAR.  :giggle:

I'll post some better pics (like ones outside with some light!) when I get the front springs in!

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Thanks guys.  If everything goes as planned the front springs will go in Friday...I just have to get the summit prop. valve in between now and then and it'll be all done for awhile.  Then I'll be loading up the  :ies: !

I like the stance but I have to say that Cobra's are overdone.

Thanks guys.  The springs came used out of a Steeda Mustang.  I believe that the Mustang was like a '92 or '93.  As far as knowing what rate springs they are...I have no idea  :dunno: but they are pretty stiff.  The car they came out of only had like 40,000 miles on it so I couldnt pass it up(Hopefully they weren't hard track miles).  As far as how much it lowered the car I'm not sure because I didn't get a baseline height.  Right now I believe it sits 26 1/4'' from the ground to the fenderwell on the rear and 26 1/2'' on the front.  As expected the rear sags just a little.  I don't know how much of a difference a shock change would make in leveling it out but I plan on it.  Right now I have Monroe shocks with a lot of miles on 'em.  The car definately has a new attitude now with the ground hugging look and 17 wheel/tire combo.  Now I just need a motor to back it up!  Plans for this winter include getting strut tower brace and subframes in.  I'm also toying with the idea of getting autometer carbon fiber guages   and making a new guage console and restoring a few bits on the interior.  Later.
