This one says 83-86 5.0 as well as 84-88 mark7.

It seems to be just a generic part designed to fit a ton of vehicles. If it were me I'd just get a mustang power steering bracket and ac delete kit used for cheap.

I honestly dont think you could exceed the cost of a new car buy installing new *stock* parts everywhere in your coug our tbird. Its just plain impossible. You could revamp the entire drivetrain/engine/suspenstion and still come out ahead.

Why eliminate?  It doesn't cost any power when it's not engaged, and when it IS engaged and you go to the floor, it DISengages.  I never understood why people do this with a street car.

I deleted mine a long time ago.......got tired of sweating and being uncomfortable during the summer, so, I have functional A/C now.

BUT, I am with Haystack. That's how I deleted my a/c at that time, Mustang steering pump bracket, a/c delete kit (moves the steering pump a little higher), and a shorter belt.
