need measurements, 83-86 AND 87-88 Reply #17 – November 18, 2011, 12:12:16 PM Here is a picture of the Griggs Racing LCA's on my '83:Here is a picture of the Global West UCA's on my '83:Having the ability to square the rear end under the car and get it positioned dead center of the wheel well was very nice. The car does have rear coil overs so there is no spring perch on the LCA's.Darren Quote Selected
need measurements, 83-86 AND 87-88 Reply #18 – November 18, 2011, 12:26:13 PM last night i was giving it some thought.. a standard 'bolt-in' set would be nice.. but there are guys who would like to have the option of adjustability on the lowers.. so i think i may be making a 2 different style prototypes.. i already made a fixed pair of both for my blue TC and i'm pretty satisfied with how they turned out, so those i have down pat.. the adjustables will just take a bit of measuring and playing to get perfect Quote Selected
need measurements, 83-86 AND 87-88 Reply #20 – November 19, 2011, 10:37:54 AM Tom,Agreed that a frame shop would use the holes in the subframes to square the car up. I lined the rear up off the wheel wells and then cross measured back to the K-member to make sure I was +/- 1/8" like the Griggs instrucitons suggested. I have a Griggs K-member which I squared to the car per the Griggs instructions so it should be all good. I guess I should have provided a little more info so thanks for the catch.Darren Quote Selected
