It was hard to watch him brush it down at a coin-op car wash. The car deserves better than that, I think.

That brush made me cringe too! Around here redneck mud-runners use those brushes to clean mud trucks. The bristles are full of rocks and all kinds of  to scratch up a car...

, that sure is a lot of miles. man my cougar only has 128,000 on both car and motor and has never been overhauled or anything.

I use the brush at the wash quick tip. after starting the wash put brush out drop on floor and use the POWER washer to clean it quick :)

If it's a lead based paint -- it'll take the brush abuse a lot better than the softer paints they started using later....Besides most of those coin op washes have a pressure washer.  Just hit the brush with it before using the brush on the car.
