88thunderbird Reply #30 – July 24, 2010, 09:53:37 AM man, sorry to hear the bad luck. Maybe take the smoking/leaking part out of the ad? I am gone next week, but bring it by sometime and we will try to diagnose it. Have you had it on a rack? Oil pan maybe? I put a new rear main in it, but thats not to say i glued it all back just right. Quote Selected
88thunderbird Reply #31 – July 24, 2010, 09:56:17 AM Yea I had it up there. Can't tell where it's coming from. It's like some magical oil leak. I would take it out of the ad if the car didn't smoke after it's warmed up. Whatever it is, it's only leaking when it's running Quote Selected

Oil would run down the block and drip on the exhaust, especially after shutting it off. Just a suggestion. Quote Selected
88thunderbird Reply #34 – July 25, 2010, 12:40:13 AM I had read about that on a stang forum. I shoved my hand back there and didn't feel anything, and you can't really see what's goin on back there by the firewall. So not really sure about that either. That's what I thought it was Quote Selected
