strange pop up

Does anyone else get this  "Congratulations, you are the first vistor to foxtbirdcougarforums" popup each time you get on in a new day?

Or is it just my computer got bugged?

All I know is the thing is driving me crazy cause you cant do anything without acknowledging it and whatever you do to it causes it to take you to their site. In the same window. esc, altf4, redx, everything.

I had a similar thing, only it asked me to take a poll. It's a virus. Download a program called "Malware Bytes." It's free, easy to use, and very effective.

I highly suggest you you buy it so you get the continuous protection module.
It wont even allow you access to a website thats on itshiznit list.

I also suggest you dont run malwarebytes parallel with avg ect because they can always be trying to kill eachother in respect that they both think the other is a virus.  Ive always been told to run one "PROTECTION" program only at one time and i am pretty sure that rule still stands to be mostly true.

Malwarebytes and Clamwin ran in combination while in safemode is like a bullet proof vest.
malwarebytes.org<<
clamwin.com<< FREE, takes donations, another tool to run parallel with the above but it only runs when you tell it to,,

and to clean up everything under the sun that nothing else seems to do......
CCleaner.com> free, enable all those advanced settings so all non essential  is gotten rid of.  Cnet approved.

chased down a worm nothing would kill even the two above programs but,, these are the two only programs that actuall found it.

while in safemode, i drilled into the path and tried to delete said file but couldnt.  I gave it a different extention and then was able to delete it.
I think i also opened it up with notepad then removed some the the ascii text then clicked save, said yes to the fact the program may not run correctly by microshaft,, then I was able to make it go away.

safari sa goodie

no issues lately other than a couple oddities on here that seems to be only my computer.
When I come here, i have zero posts until i actually reply to someone then suddently i see my total posts.  dono why.

nuff from me, my degree is in this stuff and i dont know  about it anymore.
