Feeler for my Cougar Reply #15 – November 20, 2009, 04:49:49 PM I'd hold onto it. I keep debating on putting my 'Bird up for sale I'd be lucky to 300 for it as is (needs radiator and oil pan) but its solid for the most part and runs good. Part of me wants it gone the other says gut it drop a 5.0 in and race it. Quote Selected

Feeler for my Cougar Reply #17 – November 20, 2009, 11:41:40 PM Sorry I missed your thread. If this is the exact cougar/tbird model and year that you want, keep it and be patient. If it's not, consider reassembling it, selling it and saving for the one you want. Quote Selected
Feeler for my Cougar Reply #18 – November 21, 2009, 01:22:14 PM I have decided that if someone offers me what I am asking I will sell but if not it will more than likely sit in the shop until I find the time to do it. It doesn't hurt anything just sitting there. Quote Selected
Feeler for my Cougar Reply #19 – November 21, 2009, 02:24:22 PM Throw it on craigslist if you really want to try. I was surprised how easy it was to sell my engines and trans. Quote Selected

Feeler for my Cougar Reply #22 – December 28, 2009, 10:28:18 AM Okay well I've been away for a bit but I've had a pep talk by a few friends and I decided to lower my bar a bit and just start cheap and build up on my realistic budget. I'm aiming for a 351W and a 5 speed right now. Going to have the holes welded up and give it a quickie paint job and work it over better later. I'll be sticking around for a while. Quote Selected
Feeler for my Cougar Reply #23 – December 28, 2009, 10:36:07 AM I think that's best for you in the long run. For the money you were going to get out of the car the way it currently sits, you are better off to fix it and enjoy it some. Then, if you decide to sell it, you will come out much better. Good luck!! Quote Selected
