A few Capri Pics Reply #16 – December 12, 2009, 10:18:42 PM I had quite the fetish for Pinto Wagons when I was little! Probably because I used to ride in the back of full-sized Country Squires with the dual facing rear seats. When the Pinto wagon came out I thought it was neat that Ford made a small wagon. Over the years I liked putting together MPG scale models of the Pinto Crusing Wagon with the porthole rear quarter windows. In 1985, my Grandfather had a blue 76 Pinto Wagon with a 2.8 liter V6 that he used for running around errands for his electrical contractor business. He had a stroke and became completely disabled. I remember cleaning up that car so my grandparents could sell it. I also remember painting the grille black.. LOL! I would have loved to have that car as a fun second car. Quote Selected
A few Capri Pics Reply #17 – December 13, 2009, 12:29:03 AM I learned to drive and took my drivers test in my parents Bobcat wagon. That was a fun little car. My parents gave it to my uncle and it ended up sitting for a few years when I aquired it, I wanted to make a project out of it. I wanted to put a 302 in it and tub the rear, but the underside was rotted too bad to do anything with so I had to let it go to the s yard. Quote Selected

A few Capri Pics Reply #19 – December 13, 2009, 12:45:45 AM Cool, ours was an auto but had power nothing! I can still remember the cop shaking his head and trying not to laugh while I was taking my test, muscling the wheel trying to do a 3 point turn. I passed my first try. Quote Selected
