Snowflake Rims

I've finally decided that I probably will never make use of these rims, so I'm testing the waters to see if there's any interest.

I have a real nice set of 16" snowflake rims that I had sandblasted and the faces polished. I have not done anything else to them. My original intentions were to look into clear powder coating, or perhaps some sort of color powder coating, but just never got around to it. Since my Cougar is a daily driver and getting up there in age, I'd rather see these rims go to someone with a car in better shape.

The photo isn't the greatest, but does give an idea of what the rims look like. I can take more if someone is interested. One could probably buff the polished surfaces even more to get them to a near chromed finish.

I have a set of 4 steel center caps but these are the ones with just the FORD oval logo in the center. I also have a set of the 4 stock 16" rubber that fits these rims that were taken off for the sandblasting. They have about 50% tread left. (Believe they are 225 60HR 16)

I'd like to get $250 for the set considering the time, effort, and cost in the polishing. Tires included if you want them. I really don't know about shipping them, but perhaps could if the buyer would pay shipping costs.

I have to say those look really good. Did you polish them yourself? How?

Actually, I brought them to a metal finishing shop for the initial work since the sandblasted surface was so rough.  I wanted to get it at least somewhat smoothed out before I took over what would mostly be a "by hand" operation.  The guy told me he spent A LOT of time getting them to this point.

Unfortunately, I don't know any details of what the metal finishing shop used for polishing.  All I know is that they were all sandblast finish when I brought them over to them!
