ive been reading all of the parting out threads and it seems there is a bit of interest on some parts. The reason im 85% sure i want to part the car out is the right rear quarter is ruined. im not daminc by no means as far as body work and i bet the repair job from a shop would be HUGE. The car otherwise has no problems and other than a low psi tire, i could get in it right now and drive 500 miles away from home in it right now. i have brand new NOS headlights for instance, right dead center above the license plate on the tailights have a piece on both lr and rr missing, but otherwise they're in really good condition. i had to buy a new pair and during shipping those pieces were damage. its really not that noticable. i have the front trim for non turning light cars. my fenders and original equip had those lights but after i had to rebuild the front end after a deer (no other damage than cosmetic) killed the lights and i couldnt find replacement lights so i deleted them. if there is intrest i would definatly post lots of pictures and ask you guys to pick out what your interested in and come up with a deal on price and shipping.

btw its a 87 sport 5.0lSO 7.5. it is optioned out ALMOST to the max. if some guys that know a bit about shipping costs (vinnie?) if you could PM me and tell me what shipping costs are like for large things like a sunroof or even fenders (hood is ) trunk.. locks are up to grabs with the original keys that would go with them.. let me see what you guys think if you think you could find some parts you'd want to buy let me know. i'll go right out there and take many parts and heck, if theres something you want me to take a picture of im 100% willing. i wont try and hide defects, infact if there is a defect that will be the first picture i would show so you know 100% upfront about those.

just so you guys know, im considering putting the 5.0 into the MX-5 so im not so inclined to get rid of everything that makes it run that i would need in a swap. but thats actually negotiable as the monster miata kit for the swap, plus buying a 7.5tc irs is well over 4000 dollars.

EDIT: since i decided when i rebuild the 302 with CFI so the stuff for the fuel injection is up for grabs.

EDIT: the complete injector harness and complete shifter assymbly is sold so far.

I shipped a sun roof glass, I was worried it would get there. It was packed right. only because I had the box and some other things that were shipped to me at work and made it work, To someone on here.
I wouldn't ship it again. If I could ship fenders without damage I would. Shipping is going up weekly. I'm not a big believer of greyhound either for bigger stuff. Truck freight is an option for heavy stuff like doors or anything you can fit on a pallet.
less than ups, witch would kill you for weight and size.

yeh ive seen others that didnt ship big items. the car after i part out stuff would make a good parts car as far as the body other than rr 1/4 and hood has a dent BUT would work if you just need one. that or local pickup only. im looking more at all the other stuff thats small. switches, brackets, and stuff like that. but if it came down to it, truck freight would be the way i'd go for heavy/big stuff.

Little stuff, the post office can get it there, About 9.80 for whatever you can fit in the box weight don't matter.

So what in the hell was the point in sending me a PM at 3:20 pm telling me thanks for being so nice ect ect and that "im gonna give you and vinnie first dibs on parts"

what a joker you are:D . You called me nice and I am but when I see stupid actions like this, it just makes me ,,oh,, not so nice;)

I just get done with some work,, check my pm's and there you are saying all this stuff. Im like,, ok,, leme see what the guy has. I check the board and stuff is already up for sale at 2:45pm. can you be any more trivial? I hope your transactions with potential buyers doesnt go the same. Im sure as heck not buying a darn thing now from what i see and how you handled this so far.

edit btw, the things that are sold, are going to vinnie.
