The little black box?

What is this black box thing behind the rear seat? Im tryin to start my bird up for the first time in 5 months and it just wont get any fire. what ever that thing is it looks important. the interior harness plugs into it. my new harness has 1 plug instead of 2 for it. I guess im going back to the junkyard. Seems like it should run with out the interior plugged in. I have to check and see if I accidently unhooked the computer from the loop. that means i got to take my dash out again.

The box behind the seat has nothing to do with the car not starting.  Did the car have keyless entry?

You don't have to pull the dash to get to the ECU....or the engine harness.

Turns out to be the ignition timing and a bad tps sensor i think. The throttle position shaft looks like it hit the plastic tabs inside the tps body. luckily my bro has a spare but I have to wait til monday to get it.
