Another Mass Air question....

I read on the tech section that when going to mass Air,you need to hook up the thermactor system wire or the Mass Air may not work correctly,slight hesitation.I have no smog equipment on my car.Will there be a problem?I expect I'll have a lot more questions about this.I want to have ALL my bases covered before i start the conversion.Any info is welcome.

Does SD care if the Thermactor stuff is gone? Mine is and it doesn't seem to care:hick:
88 Thunderbird LX: 306, Edelbrock Performer heads, Comp 266HR cam, Edelbrock Performer RPM intake, bunch of other stuff.

My car seems pretty happy without it.All of my smog equipment is long gone as well.
