Title: Quality pin/plunger switches
Post by: Masejoer on July 31, 2006, 02:27:34 PM
Do they exist? The best one I can find seems to be HERE (http://"http://www.megatronixusa.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Product_Code=PS15&Category_Code=PINSW"). It seems that a dished type would work the best for maximim contact.

Magnetic reed switch (with relay) failed after 4 days, mercury switch doesn't activate until the trunklid is about halfway up and can be worst on hills, and my  trunk pinswitch makes so little contact when "closed" that I have to touch the thing with my finger for it to work properly. Any sources for higher quality parts?
