Title: 94/95 stock mustang header
Post by: mywifeskitty on May 23, 2006, 05:07:00 PM
i have a mustang h-pipe so i wanted to make the cougar dual exhaust.....  so i went to coolcats and it said that you can use a factory mustang header up to 1995, so i bought a pair of 94/95 mustang headers on ebay.....  they were really, cheap which made me happy, but the passenger side one has a hole where a (o2 ?) senor is supposed to hook up to it for the mustang.....  what can i use to close off the screw hole??  will i have to get a sensor from a junkyard and dummy it in there or is there a cover plug made for it?

if your o2 sensors wount fit in their u can plug the holes with actual o2 sensor plugs. i know they have them because they come in replacment exhausts. where are you putting your factory o2 sensors?

Aren't those holes in the 94-95 headers for EGR or smog pump plumbing or something like that? I always thought the O2's were still in the H-pipe in the Fox-4...

Regardless, as 88turbo says, you should be able to use plugs in the holes.

I ran a set of 94-95 headers on my 88 mustang, Just had a friend weld the hole closed. Or one of those pipe fittings mentioned above would work.

The top header is a stock 95 with the EGR plumbing in place.
