Title: Got myself a dB meter tonight.
Post by: slamedcat on May 13, 2006, 01:27:05 AM
Well I went and got a dB meter. I was at walmart, yes I know not the best place, and was looking at the radio  and found a dB meter. Tested it on the Stereo in the Tempo 129.5dB not to bad for 3 speakers with one half installed and 2 12" subs. I'm only pushing 500 watts to the 12's and what ever the Pioneer head unit is I think 40x4.

Next checking the exhaust.

$24.99. Ya cheap but it give me a good estimate on what I have to start with and will help me with the tuneing of the system.

And with some tuning I did hit 131.6 dB.
