:dunno:  i dunno if i have a mexican block but it has 3 x's on ether side of the lifters bungs. just wanna know

Nope.... most all the roller blocks have the triple x rating...

To my knowledge the so called Mexican blocks were all flat tappet cam blocks, cast in the late 70s.
