Title: The Mark
Post by: Mercoug302 on November 15, 2004, 10:31:08 AM
Got it home finally. My first ever trip in the car and it snowed the whole friggin way back  :bs: But so far it seems worth the trouble. The car has 60K on it, still has the "new car" smell even and everything works perfect (for now). Before Tom chimes in, I apologize for the "stop sign" sticking out of the back window :flip:

It's so comfy and it drives NIIIIIIIIIIICE :)

I got to take it for a test drive in my wonderful freezing rain weather after taking him to pick up the car. It then proceded to snow like crazy...

That's awesome Bill.  I find it amusing that your Lincoln has the exact same cruise control buttons as my wife's '01 Mustang.

Are you going to put the switches on the air ride to drop it when parked or are you leaving it stock.

I have a few mods to transfer over to it from my 1996:

'03 cobra radiator

28,000 GVW tranny cooler

1 piece 1993 mark VIII driveshaft

It will also get a custom burned chip from SCT.

This may be of interest to you.
I did the air bag trick on my Mark VII. I got alot of attention for it because it sat so low the bumber would hit you about 2 in. below the knee.

Very informative, thank you. I think I'll start with just the valve. I kinda don't like how it takes so long to release the air after you get out of the car. But I like the car's current ride height for now, so I won't be doing any additional lowering.

But the Mark's are matched to the interior color and are backlit. :giggle:
