I'm new to the site. Trying to see if anybody knows what kind of engine and transmission I can throw in my Cats. Black and Cream is an 84 GS 3.8 and the black and silver is 86 LS 3.8 as well I believe. Let me know what you guys think. I'm looking for the most effective and not most expensive set up.

86-88 302 sefi swap is easiest and will give ya the most driveability, upgrade ability, and if you wanted, wouldn't cost much extra to upgrade to the 225HP h.o. setup from a mustang. Luckily with cross platform sharing between the fox chassis, almost anything that can be done to a mustang can be done to our cars pretty easily.
