Just thought I would show what I am playing around with.
I am having a real hard time using this attachment part. I am limited to 97 kb I think, but my camera saves them as like 300kb.
How can I get this to work better for me to show my pictures. The one picture attached took me over an hour to figure out, I dont think it will turn out well.
Oh well
Andy
as I thought it didn't turn out right. I realy dont know what I am doing.
Can anybody tell me what I need to do to get this right, because I have some cool pictures?
Andy
If you look for a program called IrfanView, (free) you can manipulate images to suit your needs. Display size, file size/compression, etc.
hows this
Nope
The only way I can seem to reduce the size of the object is by reducing the pixels. And it shrinks the picture. What am I not doing.
Reducing the pixels isn't that bad. I often shrink my 1280x1024 (straight from the camera) images to 1024x768 or less, and then convert them to JPG to take up less space, and they come out just great.
How's this. The image was pretty choppy to start with, but it's a little better. You need photoshop.
ill keep my fingers crossed
finally
Thanks for the help.
here is my little 88 5.0. it is not the best muscle car out there, but it sure makes my friends jelous.

it is almost all stock, except I raised it a couple of inches (air shocks), and have a custom exhaust. I have gotten it running like new agin with some TLC and a full tune up. The wheels are off a mustang gt I painted to match the car. and the rear tires I baught used that came off an suv
This is my other baby. a 92 explorer that has been in the family for the past 10 years. 173,000 miles and still running srong. Got to love a FORD :ies:
You have a fairly loaded LS, a rare sighting, at least for me.
Nice car!
I like how you painted the wheels. They look like the ones in the 88 Cougar brochure pictured on the red XR-7. I think that color looks better than the all-argent ones.
yep thanks I think it is similiar to one of your cougars. I used to have a camaro. The wheels were , so i ended up painting them and liked the look, so I kept it up with this car.
I had an '88 LS that looked much like that, 'cept the wheels. Mine had a set of custom "slot" rims from a '70 Datsun 240 Z that I had drilled at a machine shop to fit the Fox bolt pattern. Front were 15X5, rear were 15X8. I cleaned 'em up and painted the centers black:

The car was near mint (still the favourite of all the Foxes I've owned), with 80k. Unfortunately it got into an argument with a Peterbilt, and the Peterbilt won:

Sorry for the derail, it's just your pics brought back fond memories of my dearly departed '88 LS 5.0 (the second of many Foxes, but the only Cougar I've ever owned) :(
Very sharp car. I will just have to remerber not to fight with any peterbilt. That looks like one hell of a hard hit. It is a shame things turn out like that
Your car looks great, but man that is some high ride height. I'm not too keen on the fake bullet holes either, but whatever floats your boat.
The bullet holes were baught as a joke. I didn't think they would end up on the car either, but I realized that there was a small dent and rust spot by the gas tank that they coverd perfectly. Then they just started to accumulate. I changed the struts in the front of the car and realized that the springs were cracked(came out in 3 pieces) After changing those, with just stock springs, the sagging back end was very noticable. So for the sake of being different I finished raising the car. I do however like using the air shocks. They give a good stiff ride and are easy to adjust so when I get the offensive line in the car it is not sitting on the ground. plus it allowed me to fit some bigger tires under there.
