Here's my issue: 88 TC, all stock. Ran with no problems. I go to start it up, and it runs for about 5 seconds, sputters and dies. I try to restart. It cranks and cranks but never starts. I check the plugs, they seem fine. They aren't soaked with fuel. I don't have pressure gauge, so I stick something in the shrader valve to see if any fuel comes out. There seems to be pressure. I go to start it again and it runs for about 5 seconds again and dies. After about 10 seconds, it starts again and dies. So, does that sound like a fuel issue?
Okay, I think it may be the TFI module.
Run codes and check fuel pressure.

Excellent troubleshooting guide, hasn't failed me yet and will directly tell you what your problem is.
Thanks! Going to check fuel pressure tomorrow.
