I also have the complete set of Ford manuals for the car. On the h/l switches they must be different years as the picture changes. These were from when I had my 86 Cougar. The one on the box is brand new and I think it is for a Lincoln as it is the same less the heat sink

Driverguy, I tried to respond to your pm but you need to clear your inbox. Here is a pic of the underside of the lid you were asking about. As for the mirrors they are correct for 83-86 style doors and from your signature it looks like you have a 88 so I dont think they would fit correctly. You might want to check around as I would hate to sell you something only to have it turn out they wouldnt work for you.

I hope the car went to a good home and we see it around sometime. Doubt if I'll ever sell my 83 so I'll have to give your spare parts a thought. :D

The Bird went to a older gentleman in Minnesota, he is thrilled with it. I only sold it to get a new toy so as much as I didnt want to sell it I was ok with letting it go. This is the second time now I have gotten rid of a 83 T Bird to facilitate getting a Corvette

Well I didnt even know it was full...maybe that's why I haven't been getting many responses lol thanks. I'm thinking maybe the mounting pieces are different, but I don't know if the mirrors themselves are.

Glad to hear it went to an enthusiastic owner. But to get rid of an 83 to buy a Corvette.....twice! :beatyoass: Just kidding. I'm a car guy and appreciate them all.
