Locally I have run across a really good deal on fox adjustable spring perch tubular rear control arms by Maximum Motorsports.... I was wondering what kind of trouble anyone has out of the shorter fox Mustang pieces if anyone uses them at all? I think the ability to adjust the rear would be beneficial for my ever-so-slow going project.
Thanks,
Drew
I'm interested too in whether or not this is feasible. Can they be used at all?
They technically will fit, but depending on your tires it may run into a problem with hitting the front of the wheel well. They actually move the axle forward, it also wouldnt look right. I thing MM actually does make Tbird/cougar specific ones, Id have to look to be sure.
MM does, and CHS does as well. I was just wondering if anyone had any experiance with the Mustang parts on the T Birds.
I have used a set of Fox Mustang LCA's on the rear and as soon as it was on the ground they came right back off and sold to a guy with a Fox Mustang. The rear moved at least 0.75" forward and looked terrible. If you do not have adjustable UCA's you will never get the pinion angle correct so that is something else you need to look at.

I appreciate the information... The CHE parts aren't all that expensive, I was just wondering if I could save a buck. The cool cats web site is a bit vague to the use of these, so I figured I would ask. I may get them for my Fairmont anyway.
Thanks,
Drew
You don't want your car to look like this. When I'm able to get my car down here, this issue will be fixed. Although this is with a 03' Cobra IRS. Same thing applies though.
