I guess the video camera was having trouble focusing on the time on the 10.37.

Not a bad evening. On the 10.37, I was running against a turbo V-8 Cobra. He didn't know what to think about the ole 4 banger running with him.

Thanks guys! It has been an interesting journey with this car, that is for sure. I have another TC in the garage with a cage and built rearend that is slated to get a turbo big block but I am having so much fun with the 4 banger, I haven't messed with the other car in several years now. I remember my original goal for the 2.3 was 12's. Now I want 9's, lol! Never ends!

Nice reaction time on the 10.37 run!!  What's your suspension setup?

Suspension consists of CHE rear control arms. The uppers are double adjustable with spherical bearings at the axle end. It also has a Team Z rear antiroll bar. Front suspension is stock. Still running the stock PRC shocks /struts set on firm as well as stock springs.

What was your 60' time on that 10.37 pass? Curious because if you haven't really done any front suspension work I dont it will be far from nines :D

The 60' was 1.47 on that run. The car still has stock springs, shocks, k-member/a-arms, power steering and the ABS brake system so there is room for improvement.

Wow, shed some weight and get it to transfer some, 9's are with in reach.  Do you street drive the Bird?  What size turbo???  Looked awesome.

I do street drive the car. Mainly weekend cruising and take it to work once in a while (50 mile round trip). I put about 3-5k miles a year usually. The turbo is a Precision 62mm.
