Title: Best shift kit for AOD?

I'm looking for opinions on what is the best shift kit to put in an AOD.
My last one had a B&M shift kit, and it stopped the trans from doing the weird hunting for the right gear shifting.
I now have a factory rebuilt AOD, and am getting tired of the stock shifting habits.
Any opinions on what brand kit is the best for a daily driver?

Transgo. There are a few more mods that are available.

I'm using a Bauman kit with no complaints. I've also heard good things about the transgo kit too. Either kit is better than the B&M products, or so I've heard. Another good resource for AOD info is clickclickracing.com.

Put one in mine and love it!  Replaced the TransGo I had about a year and a half ago.

i ve had the transgo kit since 2002 and it shifts like a stick car, but that other kit looks pretty sweet

ooo that SPT-MAC looks tempting at $450. I hate the TV cable controlling line pressure

I agree trying to set that thing by the correct pressure sucks, and a good TV cable is $70-$80

I added the Silverfox overdrive servo too.  Holy indestructible, Batman!  This thing looks to be high end military grade.

who has used this kit and installed it themselves? it says its super easy on his site, but i wanted to know if this is something that can be done with no auto trans knowledge in a driveway

My son and I done mine in the garage, follow the directions that he sends and its a no brainier ...really not that hard

Easier than installing a TransGo IMO.  No swapping checkballs or anything.
