Title: help needed!
Post by: supercharged88 on October 08, 2013, 03:59:25 PM
ok so heres the deal, my daily driver(95 Blazer 4x4) has a weird noise. its not the rear end just serviced it and checked it out and has all new u-joints. it only makes the noise when you accelerate after coming off the gas or out of a turn and then on the gas its definitely underneath the car towards the rear or mid section. only has 40k on the tranny but i was thinking torque converter lockup but its not shuttering

any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Maybe your tailshaft in you trans or steady bearing on your driveshaft if you have one. Or trans mount is gone. Maybe they forgot to tighten something, you have to describe the noise a little, is it a bump, a grinding noise, rubbing noise, how long does it do it, is it worse if you put your foot into it, etc....I'll bet it is something simple
