I have an old head unit from my old car that i was hoping i could install into my 88 TC, but ive run into some complications on the install. i have everything all wired up correctly according to the wiring diagram i found online, but nothing happens when i turn the car on. the head unit doesnt power up at all. i'm very confused and if anyone knows what could be wrong i could gladly use some help. the head unit is a jvc kw-av50 and my TC has the premium sound if that makes the install any different.

Is the antenna plugged in? If not it won't power on as that is the whole sound systems main ground.
