I have FINALLY finished the 3.5 Diamante engine swap into the 04 Stratus RT. It's purring like a kitten :evilgrin:
I just need to borrow a dealer plate and take it for a ride :burnout:

2 door Stratus, that's the reason for the Mitsubishi engine? I always thought a homemade SRT6 Stratus would be cool. Pics!

slightly modified exhaust. I did have to replace the little flex pipe though.
made a thin adapter plate (center) & required gaskets (lower 2)
getting it ready to pull the engine & trans

I know I know. It's rather......... unclean and not detailed. I didn't paint it up or make it look good.........yet. I'm waiting till it's officially mine and (as per the wife :mad:) 1 project at a time, finish the T-Bird then color-change her Camary, then I can toy with the R/T. :evilgrin: SR/T6 maybe??
