Hey everyone I was wondering what everyones opinion is on rims for the fox body tbirds. Right now I have stock and I want a set of rims that will give the car a more aggressive sporty kinda look. I do like the cobra R rims but a lot of people use them. I also like the mustang pony rims. If you have pics of what your thunderbird looks like with some aftermarket rims please please please post them. I want to make an educated desicion before I buy them. Thanks (:
There are all kinds of Cobra R wheels. Silver, chrome, anthricite, black.....and more. Check Ebay. I have 10th anniversay Cobra wheels on mine.
Do you have a pic of your tbird?

You've got many choices. Most Fox (79-93) Mustang wheels will fit a Fox Thunderbird/Cougar :).
Mine are about to change I believe.
I have cobra R's and like rocking the bigs and littles from my drag car

i have been wanting to do something with wheels too. i have 16" ponys on now, i cant see where swapping to 5 lug is all that painless on these cars. easier if it didnt have disc brakes. but anyway, i am thinking about so 4lug to 5 lug adapters, which are are about 2" thick, for about $250 for a set. that way i can run the virtually unlimited supply of 2005-2013 style mustang wheels since it will be the correct offset then.
how much for the SC wheels?
I've seen a TC on cl with the sc wheels I like it
Love the SC wheels....throw out a price??
I like the SC wheels myself!
Holy round bling circles Batman !!!
do you have a frontal or 3/4 shot of that car with the SC rims? I'd like to see the offset they have. thanks

Sorry for not responding. I would really like to try and sell local. I don't really have any pics from a front angle. The car is on jack stands right now. I'm in the middle of my kmember swap.
2010 ford escape 17 inch wheels, old school photoshop job. i can make these work if i buy the 4 to 5 lug adapters.
