I am looking for a egr plate to put on factory throttle body, is it a 65mm or 60mm, I want to be able to have a place for throttle cable to mount to?
59mm.....Ok, 60mm is easier. :P
Yea a exsplorer is 65
Can find any plates for a 60mm, just the little block off plate for the back side, i was wanting to get the spacer plate so I could use the mounting holes for throttle cable.
Here's a stock Mustang piece on Ebay, I'm sure there are many more........

You can always take your smaller one to a machine shop and have them open it up for you.
Summit sells their own brand for 60, 65 and 70mm egr plates with cable bracket boss drilled ready to install, not too pricey.
This is something I am looking for but for the 60mm, vinnie I have the factory one, put was wanting to take it off.

I have one of these from this company but it's 2 inches thick. I just installed it a few days ago with my 65mm throttle body and GT-40 intake.
I find it abit funny that ford equipped the explodder 5.0 with just about everything better except the cam...
Makes a great deal for fox owners...
Travis
They had 10 years after the Fox Birds to make those changes.
If I go with a 65mm, will I have to change anything else? And will a 65mm fit the factory upper or will it have to be modified?
I think the opening is 60mm on the stock HO upper but it could be in the 60-65mm range. You may have to open it up a bit. I know the opening on a Explorer/GT40 is 69.70mm, at least both of the ones I have are. I measured them with dial calipers. I've got a 70mm on the Thunderbird and I didn't bother to make the opening bigger as I figure .30mm of air can't add that much power. If you measure the opening and it's 64.30mm or some other number you probably won't gain much by making the opening bigger. If it is 60mm yeah open it up.
Vinnie's famous Quote!! "I have one of these from this company but it's 2 inches thick. I just installed it a few days ago with my 65mm throttle body and GT-40 intake."
Vinnie changed his intake!! You got that down to 10 min. yet?
Vinnie changes intakes like I change engine oil ;).
Well, I can say this, it doesn't take me long to swap an intake. I only had to change the upper, and it didn't take 10 minutes. More like 5 minutes......literally. But to be fair, the GT-40 already had the spacer and t-body bolted on before I actually started.
Just swapping the upper is a 15 minute job, so yeah as fast as an oil change ;).
