Title: I must be nuts
Post by: TOM Renzo on January 20, 2013, 10:41:56 PM
Thought you would like my new ride. Just finished it and took it for a blast. WOW pinned us to the seat and with just some small mods. Next week Cams Header and an exhaust hand made cat only. Here is the results as i am loosing my mind. I just cant keep my right foot off the gas.  Full boost of 24 at just a tad over 3200 RPM'S. This car is a ROCKET.    Thanks

Actually this car turned out better than our expectations. The thing pulled all the way through 7500. I make mistakes all the time. Messing with cars can be a throw of the dice some times. But i am having fun doing it. @ my age getting my heart to beat fast is a big c. Thanks 88

Just trying to keep up but this IS an Asian manufactured front wheel drive based automobile, is it not?

Primarily, yes.  However, the Evo is turbo, intercooled and all-wheel drive.  Usually these things are rally MONSTERS.  Their primary competitor is the Subaru Impreza WRX STI.  These two are IMHO, the finest puppiesan has to offer in the segment.  I like my T-Bird better, but you got to recognize.

Thank you for verifying, However, I myself am very well aware of what it is. I have a close friend that has one that runs mid/low elevens. Tom, the O.P. insists anything Asian or front wheel drive based is garbage. His opinion, not mine.

Travis that car is HIGHLY MODIFIED BY YOURS TRULY. I have to stay sharp with foreign cars as well as domestic. The bills never stop. And between JR and myself we do very well. With that we always strive fro perfection no matter who makes your ride. Foreign domestic they all pump air and make HP.
