I like this!
How well did the kit fit the T-bird? Thinking about the headers and engine mounts :)

The on3 kit fit great. Headers, mounts. And intercooler
Piping. The only issue i had was with the eletric fans. I found an old
Mustang and fast ford article that used a 95-00 ford contour fan setup. I went this route and it looks awesome and fits great. I would reccomend the turbo kit for any mechanic.

Now I'm kicking myself in the nuts because I went with Procharger for mine where I'm fabricating all of the piping and such myself and I know I'll eventually go turbo on my car :P

Thanks but I live in Sweden so I'll pass on that mate ;) Not that difficult doing it yourself anyways. Just a bit time consuming that's all.

What type of engine management are you using...  I have an ON3 351 kit in my 86XR7....not quite done.  http://www.foxtbirdcougarforums.com/showthread.php?32790-1986-XR7-351-turbo-swap....

What size fuel injectors...It should be fun when it is done.

I am just using a DA1 eec IV. Its a speed density eec. With 42lb injectors. A buddy of mine runs this setup with no problems. A lot of people say it doesnt work, but i have seen it. And if all fails them a megasquirt will be used

Auto or stick?  Everyone on gods earth says to use 3.27 with a turbo mustang.  R heaver cars probably could get away with 3.55

I'm from Michigan. How far r u from me?

The lower gear ratio loads the engine harder...which equals more power.  Its been proven over and over again.  3.73 are great for NA and supercharged cars...but for boost...the 3.55 and lower seems to perform much better.

Good call on the 90 fitting on the turbo feed line. Do you have a restrictor in there?

OH yeah, check the center section bolts on the turbo every so often, the one on my T67 and T76 both came loose after a few hundred miles. What stall converter?

I like everything about that car. I'm assuming by that intake you're using mostly stock hardware. That On3 could have that block cracking with NO other mods needed :-). I would have never messed with my heads and intake. Just need to know about your wheel/tire setup. Are those Summit drag star lookalikes? If so 15x3.5 and 15x8 (5.5 backspacing)? What tires are you using on the rear? They look narrower than 275/50/15. And by all means keep us posted. Good or bad I'd love to see numbers. Thanks.

Yeah...pictures....

The ON3 alternator setup...I dont like it...way to close to the turbo IMHO.  im working on mounting mine on the drivers side...I have three alternator kits...so one of them should work....haha.

Please let me know what right side mount you use. I dont really like it either. Looks tacky to me. Might have dome time today for tuning. What fan setup did you use trav?

Will do...on the alternator bracket...

I have 1995 Ford Taurus single fan but dual speed control fan...I have tested it, but not used it with the car running.

I have my fan wired up like a 88TC...thats because I ran a LA3 years ago...so my megasquirt (Stinger PIMP)..
