How the heck did they get a TC for a pace car when Chevy was like THE sponsor?

local ford dealership may have been a sponsor as well.. sometimes a dealership will hop on as a sponsor, throw in some cash and supply a pace car

Each track has a sponsorship deal with each car maker. Ford is the official vehicle of Watkins Glen.
