I'm going to look at this on sunday.
I actually have more info on it.. it's an XR7, burgundy.. has a full ground effects kit on it, turbo coupe hood.. he's selling a few extra hoods along with it and some other misc cougar parts. Not to mention it's an 85, not an 86...
So it's 1 of 16, and not 1 of 89.. and it being an xr7.. its a pretty rare cat.
Save it!
U guys r lucky I live in Alabama!! LOL GO GET IT!! lol
Went to check it out yesterday.. I'm definitely adding it to my fleet.
Congratulations baxo!
Baxo, you know the rules by now.... pics.......... :beatyoass:
Well I don't own it yet ;), but here are some pics anyway:

Looks Great Alex , By the way your pm in box is now full up friend.
Thanks! And I wonder why Dan ;)
That is NO excuse.. I got my first convertible from Tucson Arizona, 2300 miles away!
Looks really good....except for those pos lights in the front...you, ummm, are gonna remove/replace, right? lol
Good score...good to see one saved. :)
I'll probably put my other 'vert back to stock and all the mods I had planned for it will be done on this one.
Dude. That is sweet. It is a Turbo Cougar convertible! That has to be very rare.
it is.. and it's an 85.. not 86.. in 85 they only converted 16 or so cougars.
That probably is the rarest of the rare. Good find.
Thanks Chuck! And luckily, this one's already in Canada :)
So, it stinks of stale Molsen and the gauges read in that funny metric stuff? :hick:
At least there was no cross-continental road trip required to retrieve it!
Spoiler's gotta go though...yeesh...
Well.. no it was originally from Florida, the owner of it now used to live there. So it's all in miles and such, and it doesn't stink of Molsen because you just drop the top to air it out LOL.
Well after driving mine from Arizona, and Jerry's from Florida, I must admit, this is a nice break! And for the record, this will be the 4th convertible I have driven.
Well.. there's a reason they call them a "spoil"er.. but yeah, you're right!
It's just too wide or something...honestly I thought the one on Bear's/Jerry's trunklid wasn't that bad. I'd rather see that on this car. But whatever crumbles your cookie eh. ;)
Yes the spoiler is definitely wider than the car.. and if this is the one I modify.. well.. i wouldn't even worry about a detail such minute as finding the right spoiler!
I was just commenting to Shawn that I hadnt seen a turbo 'vert, and there ya go!
Nice car.
wow!!!!!!!!!!
Great find, you may actually be the only one on the planet with one.
Good job,, what did it sell for if it is ok to ask.
I haven't bought it at this point.. health problems got in the way, but I was going to go with the full asking price of $1500, i figured it was well worth it.
hell yeah thats awesome.
so much potential!
