That's almost what it costed new, the continental kit would have to go.
You don't see that color interior too often~Lil pricey ;)
$1/mile or $500/year
Whoever put that kit on the bumper needs to have it dropped on their head. Repeatedly.
Nice. I tried to buy the interior out of a Cougar that was that same colour. I'd already bought some other things from it and was gonna go back for the interior the following week. Sadly, they'd crushed it...
By the way, regarding the price - if you really want a near perfect 4-eye (the silly conti kit notwithstanding) this car is worth every bit of $8k. It's pretty much a brand new car. Try and buy any used car with only 8k miles on it for less. I think these things are finally, if slowly, starting to appreciate in value...
I've seen this car before, it's hard to forget that tire...and color...

I posted about it a year ago, I'm thinking it is priced to high for the market .
But Carm has a valid point about the price being worth it if someone really wants it .
It's been for sale for quite a long time. I actually like the continental kit. I like the interior style, not necessarily the color, but those seats look comfortable. You think he would take some pictures with the car not on the ramp truck though.
That's a LOT of money for brown. And a fake spare tire.

Costed?
not a single top engine bay shot., oh well.
I think its worth it.,,color not my thing though but still, its nice.
Why are ALL the awesome original low miles cars that UGLY brown/beige color???? Doesn't anybody preserve green or red or blure or SOMETHING OTHER THAN BROWN?????? This is like the 5th low miles car in brown. :yuck:
too ugly to drive maybe...lol
It was like that in the 1960s and 1970s too...the only preserved ones are either brown or that pea green.
At least the taupe and brown metallics from our cars were attractive enough.
If the Conti kit was easy enough to remove and IF (big IF) there was no paint damage or fading from that...then it would be worth it IMHO.
Yet it would remain brown.
That's a tough call...
you were thinking what i was, if the paint isnt faded, the kit goes.
I like brown
Most of the preserved low mile ones are not only brown but also have a 3.8........
That is absolutely true. Must be because they wouldn't climb hills, so their owners parked them and let them sit, lol. Not that my stock 5.0 is a powerhouse, but I can proceed up a hill on the highway without it downshifting into 3rd. And I can punch it and move a little, lol.
i agree put the money in the car, price to high, i think around 6k if mint, clean,no rust
I don't mind brown either. In a sea of black, silver, white, blue and red cars it stands out. And adds to the classic car look. The conti kit has to go though.
I'd rock it as is.
wait... the spare tire isn't even real?!? o.0
