Hey, got a question for yall. I know Fila birds from 84-85 were fairly rare. What I don't know is production #'s. I have the opportunity to pick one up for $3500. It's a one owner car with only 43,000 miles and all original. Completely unmolested! Should I do it? Is it a ok deal or a great deal? Your opinions are valued.

i have read only around 500 were made. not sure if that is correct though.

If you like that car, buy it. You could not come close to restoring one of these Birds, even if the parts could be sourced for $3500. Winner here, assuming condition is great as you say.

I want pictures too. I don't know what the numbers were on them but you don't see very many of them left.

If it's as nice as you describe it sounds like a good deal. Not sure there is a big Fila following but these cars are getting hard to find in nice condition. Waiting for those pictures! :hick:
