Anybody know a good one? I have been working on the 4wd system in mine and need a little help. (It went from no 4wd to being stuck in 4L).
The Ranger Station (http://"http://www.therangerstation.com/").
Thanks dude
rangerstation has been around a long time, and has pretty much every base covered. Heck, I was perusing their site back in 2000-01, when I was doing a '66 Bronco driveline swap into my '87 Bronco II.
Also, Ford Trucks (http://"http://www.ford-trucks.com/") has the info you seek.
Sweet. I'm gonna get on 'em both, gotta get as much info as possible, as I was trying to make this explorer my dd and I think I may have screwed that up....LOL

The Explorer forums is where I go for my Exploder.
The ranger station has a LOT of info, but I just never seemed to find what I was looking for there.
Good luck!
Might also try Ford Truck Fanatics (http://"http://www.fordtruckfanatics.com/forum/index.php"). Kind of a rival to the Ford Trucks site, but saw a lotta folks move over. Nothing meant to suggest one better than the other, just more info if you need it.
im a member of that 1 too, i was gonna say them, it is full of knowledgeable people, much like this site :mullet:
I agree on rangerstation. I used to go there when I had my '88 and '97 Rangers. I really miss those little trucks sometimes!
Thanks guys, I am a member of them all now :D And because of that I got my 4wd system working now, and I am doing away with the pushbutton/electronic , I am no good at troubleshooting that stuff. Now, all I gotta do is swap over the 6" suspension lift and the wheels/tires. Awesome.
what year is your ranger?
Its actually an explorer. It's a '92 model.
oh ok
I'm really liking it, it's not in too bad of shape, and a lot more room for me/wife/3 kids than my bird was. I'm changing the push button 4wd over to a manual type shift too too much that can go wrong there.
Ford Forums Online (http://"http://www.fordforumsonline.com/forum/") has a section for most all Ford vehicles.
