oh, there is a cover over the amps that has a key on it. Without the key it is a real PITA to open it up
Looks good.. but there's no way in hell I would eat up that much trunk space over a stereo. Bad enough that I'm having to adjust to my first non-hatchback since 1990.. and worse yet that I have a jack and a couple jack stands and my toolbox back there.. I couldn't deal with losing that much space. But hey, if I didn't mind the loss, I sure wouldn't mind copying something like that lockable lid for the amps. There is one project idea of mine (that might get posted in my "stupid" thread) that could call for something like that someday.
I should just get a pickup one of these days, and say to hell with trunk space.. then I could even haul the riding mower around if I had to.. but I can't bring any more cars home until I get rid of one. :(
I just sealed all my equipment behind plexi and close into the rear seats. No vibration, and I can still carry my tools
