Slightly interesting note, while checking feedback of the guy selling the lock set, I noticed he had bought some stuff from a seller named "vinnietbird" :hick:

If interested, I could buy a set, ship them to myself, and then ship them to you after..For whatever it costs for shipping to Canada.

The look the same, but, the replacements (that we're talking about) have hard plastic heads to them, the originals have a rubber head to them.I'm keeping the replacement in use.

I bought one set of Turbo keys while I also bought a set of Escort black headed keys that I am using. I even bought a set of old 1969 Tbird keys with the Bird logo, but unfortunately the ignition key will not clear the inside of the lock cylinder slot enough to go in all the way.

I use the neat Turbo trunk and door key all the time while I have the Turbo ignition key tucked away in a drawer.

all of the stock originals I have are hard plastic.  I have an original set for each of my TC's and soon to be NOS for all of them :D  when I emailed the seller I asked him about the keys and he stated that they are from ford.

I'll bet they are Ford replacement keys. The NOS keys I got with the complete lock and tumbler set, dated 1988,had the rubber tops.,you can stick a needle through the rubber...if one wanted to....which I am not going to do.
