That's pretty good advice but that car is all done. Still, don't let them cut you a weak check.

make sure they cut you a good check AND let you keep the car.  then gut the car and send the carcass to the sper.  then you have loads fo extra parts for the next bird.

Sorry to see that happened. I'm glad to see no one was in it, with that hard of a hit it would've made things alot worse.

That stinks. It's hard to tell for sure from the picture, but that looks like it was a really clean car. I hope you can find one as nice to replace it. Good luck!!

Good deal!  I did the same thing when my '88 Mustang was totalled.  They finally replaced it in a similar fashion, although I had to pay $800 to get my old stang back.

Glad things work out in your favor, afterall it was her fault.

Kijiji has a few nice finds in the Montreal area right now.

80,000km '84 that needs a bit of body work on the lower rear quarter in Laval.

188,000km '87 that needs nothing in the way of body work (maybe sourcing the C-pillar emblems). Looks mint on the outside, and is also in Laval.

130,000km '87 5-spd TurboCoupe in Montreal. Great example, but he's dreaming with that price.

225,000km Beautiful '85 5-spd TurboCoupe with all the goodies from an '88 TC (motor, tranny, rear), except he claims to have put '88 Doors, fender, and trunklid on his '85, but none of the mismatching is visible in the pictures. It has a full skirt kit, and Ford MS Duck-tail spoiler and grille (I think that's a FMS grille).
