Title: Rear disc setup......
Post by: vinnietbird on November 19, 2009, 03:09:08 PM
I just picked up my TC rear, and will not be using the discs. The calipers look good, the brakes look likely were installed not long before the car died, and one rotor is great, one is good, but probably needs to be turned.I also got the parking brake cables. One dust shield is bent.I may try to bend it back.Everything seems to be in tact and I'll be pulling the parts this weekend more than likely.............$100.00 shipped.--------PENDING--------

I also got the following...

-Turbo Coupe door emblems......$20.00 shipped

-"Thunderbird" and "Turbo Coupe" trunk emblems.....$20.00 shipped

-Fuel pump assembly ...in great condition.....$30.00 shipped (pump and all)

-Fuel sending unit assembly...great shape.....$25.00 shipped (for buttstuffog gauges).

-VERY nice fuel tank straps and pins....$20.00 plus shipping

-Explorer cam...super great shape......$45.00 shipped

-90 degree oil filter adapter and cooler.....$25.00 shipped

Are you including the hub assemblies with the disc package?

No the hub assemblies are what the calipers bolt to. you have to pull the axles to remove them.  Isn't this part of the swap to rear disks?

The disc setup is sold.It was every single fastener, the thick plates that bolt to the differential, calipers, pads, rotors, everything. If it came off of the differential,it was part of the "kit".
