Post by: turbocoupetgill on September 18, 2009, 12:51:48 PM
I'm driving on the freeway and I go wot in 5th gear and all it does is revup. what could be the possible causes of this?

X3, but should be slipping some in the lower gears, if not must be a tranny issue... If it were a gear issue, would no doubt be making some noise...

well it doesn't slip in lower gears. not that I've found anyway. also I barely have to push the clutch down to get it to engage. the car does make some noise while driving on the freeway. it comes from right below the shifter. only in 5th tho.
