Post by: Elantbird84 on October 27, 2004, 10:53:55 PM
i am going to put a 6-speed in my bird. which one should i use?
the Richmond or the Ford Motorsport. i have a turbocupe parts car that i got the clutch peddles out of. i am going to get a new drive shaft. going with aluminum, and i know i will prob have to have it modified. also any one have any opinions on which clutch i should use?

well, not sure what im going to so. i know i will prob at some point do a 351C build. thy both use the same bell housing. so i should prob go with the bad boy, how would the tko fit? if i use the ford one. it will fit in all the right places. but the drive shaft would have to be changed. the cross member prob would need modifying.

I know for sure you can get a tremec t-56 on a 5.0 or 351W. You will need to shorten you drive shaft, move your transmision mounts back, use 31 spline yolk, and specific bellhousing and clutch just to name a few but the list goes on.
