You will never see one on a car cause it's BS. If it was this easy and cheap, everyone would have one.

I have never seen one. Doesnt look like it would put out much HP if its run by the altenator. Would be cool on one of those pocket bikes or something if it did really work. lol

Those same things go for about $50 on eBay.

Trash.

I'd love to do a dyno test on one with a before and after.  Somehow I think the after would be lower.

Oh Lord, not the Turbonator again. Those things have been discussed (and ridiculed) at length here over the years

The concept behind an electric supercharger isn't a bad one, but those are pretty much leaf-blower motors. There's no way in hell it would handle 30psi without blowing the plastic 'housing' to pieces. Now if this was setup with a REAL compressor housing with a very high revving electric motor on the 'hot' end of the shaft, you might get my attention. You would probably only be able to run it for a short time, due to depletion of the battery, though. I don't know if the alternator would put out enough energy to run an electric motor with that much load on it, let alone keep the other systems running and maintain charge.

But this thing? No. Have you ever seen what these things look like on the inside. You'd be lucky to get your hair fully dry with one of those things. Made for air-flow, not high pressure.

you could probably get the same power outta your blower box.......  just find a heater blower box off another car and strap it to your intake..  same thing  just cheaper plus you'll have a spare blower motor=]

Your engine sucks in more air than that can blow air in, thus making this "electronic turbo" block more air overall for a loss of horsepower.

No need to close it. He asked, we answered, he accepted the truth. If he was one of those people who argue with you and say "I'm getting it anyway", then started a flame war, that's lockable. Thankfully he's got plenty of sense. ;)

The only way that thing will build 30 psi is to put it on a super small engine....Chain saw ?....weed whacker ?

It says in the ad it makes 25-40 hp @ 3 psi. That means it has to be making 20-32 hp on the motor first. They failed to mention that.......

hahaha ohhh no I would NOT spend my money on this! lol
I was just wondering if anyone had ever seen one on a car. No intentions of buying one. Especially for that price! I just thought it was funny the guy said it will hold 30 psi.

Lock it if you want. I got my laugh out of it! lol
