If anyone comes across any cheap cowl or scooped hoods let me know please.
Otherwise im just gonna end up hacking up my old hood and molding this into it:

with tc scoops like 1wldbrd did. :hick:
Try usbody.com or hoods.com , that's where my cowl hood came from. It wasn't real cheap and it took quite a bit of work to get it right, but the end result was worth it.
I do have a fiberglass cowl hood that I would not mind parting with. I believe it is one of the hoods mentioned in the previous posts. I bought it on ebay 5 years ago and never had the chance to install it. I will not be home on leave until June, but if you can wait until then I will sell it to you for $200. It's a pin on and will need some work from what I remember but it is still in the factory box. PM me if you need any more details.
There is a Cobra R with SVO scoop cowl like the one in the link you posted that a company makes. They sell on EBay but are a little pricey IIRC. I want to mold a Corba R cowl (the one that looks like it steps up twice) onto the extra hood I have. I just need to find one like 32VFoxBird did with his Mach hood. All busted up, since all I need is the center.
DO NOT get that one, it will crack with in 20 miles and look like shiznit... TRUST me, ask BaXo how I know.... Get the steel one and weld it on. That is actually a planned hood for me, just waiting on the guy to give me a shipping quote from the states.:D
