Title: C4 Question
Post by: Grumbles on April 06, 2009, 09:53:04 PM
So I finally cracked down and decided it was time to take the old C4 apart and peek inside, make sure the guts were looking okay. Nothing looked cooked, in fact, despite the road grime on the outside, the guts look recently rebuilt, and I dont smell anything burnt in there.

Question though, what's the bellhousing-to-tranny gasket called? The one that sits between the bell itself and the actual guts.
Can't find it searching "bellhousing gasket" on either Autozone or Summit.  Halp?

As far as I know, there isn't a gasket there. The only gasket in the front is the pump to case gasket. Me am pretty sure.

Because a gasket was there doesn't mean it needs one.
