Not liking the paint job so much, but,it does look like a great foundation for a cool build up.Any current pics?Sand it down and take it to Maaco. What plans are in store for the old bird?

I like both your car and his. I'm pretty easy to please. My car looks like ass right now so anything looks better than mine.

I spray painted my old 86 cat black. It had alot of rust all over it, including on the roof and inside the doors. I couldn't find any midnight wine purpleish gray, and really didn't want a purple car. The spray paint will fade greatly if its outside for any period of time.

For the cost of spray painting your car a couple of times you could get the cheap job at Maaco.

"I WANT WHOLE ASS"

-Luecke

That is my favorite quote from my best high school teacher. It was always "Dont give me something half ass, I WANT WHOLE ASS!"

I know what you mean. I guess it all depends on the future plans you have for the car. As of now I dont really care what it looks like. I rather drive an ugly car than be stranded by a beautiful one. On the side of the road a beautiful car looks worse than my ugly one driving by. IMHO

It seems like after he comes back home he is going to do things right. This looks to be only temporary.
