They're gonna go on a 17X9 rim.....Here's how that will look.

They ship Friday.....
On your Buillits? They are going to look sick.
Yup, on bullitts ;) The stock bullitt wheels are 8" wide. I picked up a brand new and UNUSED pair of 9" wide ones for $100....
The M&H's run a little narrow and I sa a picture of the 275/50-17's mounted on the rims I have....Didn't look right at all. The lip of the wheel was out past the tire....These look like they're gonna fit nice!
Yaaaay DR's! Yaaaay snapped axles!!! :hick: jk I dunno maybe the parts are up to the task. Hopefully!
sweet. ive been eyeballing the hoosiers but those look nasty!
31 spline....
Guys are throwin MUCH more than I have at them and they live....
Might pick up a CHE axle brace in the near future though...
Or worse...

I just ordere my MT ET streets. 245 55 15. They should be adequate for what i need...and theyll fit nice on the extra pair of turbined i just picked up.
Last night was the first time I'd really taken the Cougar out for a drive with the new suspension since the weather got cold in December up here. A WOT 1-2 shift @ 50 or so produced wheelhop. I knew these tires hardened up considerably when it got cold, but !
I'd like to find something maybe 27" tall for an 8-9 inch wide rim....
So Paul are you selling the mustang or putting drag radials on it then selling it. lol
Nah. Keeping it ;)
Hell my T-bird has wheel hop off the line. I wish it didn't happen till 50 mph :hick:
Does the Cougar still have the 7.5 in it? If you want an 8.8 just put the drag radials on the Cougar ;)
The way that 7.5 is built, I'll twist a axle tube before anything else happens.....
Trust me, you don't. One side was worse than the other. I can honestly say that a good amount of people would have lost control of the car if the same thing happened to them.
I won't even attempt a launch in this climate....Bad things will happen that will cost money.
Not sure what size rim you were looking for a 27" tire in, but Mickey Thompson makes a 27" diameter ET Street Radial for 17" wheels.
P295/45R17 28X11.50R17 9.5-11.0 27.2 (http://"http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/strip.php?item=ETStreetRadialII")
I've read of several who have put this on a 9" rim.
An option for a 15 inch rim......27.2" diameter.

I'd like something that fits a 16X8 rim for the Cougar. I have an idea what I want if I were to use a performance street tire, but just looking at other options as well. The rims have not been purchased yet, but I'm ready to jump that hurdle.
Got them on.

The one downside is that the stock Ford center caps do not fit the new rear wheels so I have mismatched caps as of this moment. New ones are already ordered that will fit both the stock bullitts and the rear 17 X 9's
I can't believe they called for a 10 inch wide rim for these...Looks perfect on the 9's IMHO...
Lookin good. Tried them out yet?:burnout: :burnout:
Teased them a bit.
They HOOK.
Must be awesome
There's the beef!
Obviously on the back of V8Demon's Stang
