Title: How to make the difference ?

How to prove that i have a 87 Cougar-XR7 if i dont have the original wheel and original paint. Even if i got the 5.0 engine.

Where the difference between LS and Xr7 ?

Serial number. If it's a regular Cougar the serial number will start out 1MEBM60, while if it's an XR7 it'll start out 1MEBM62. The VIN doesn't lie.
